Members can access ID cards via the mobile app. There are three steps to access benefits: Use your phone or tablet to access The Principal secure mobile app to get information on coverages.
- Download the Principal app for free from the App Store or Google Play.
- Log in. Use the same username and password you use on principal.com.
- Go to the Group Insurance section.

Yes, via eService access.
Do dependents receive ID cards?
Principal issues two cards for Employee + One or More Dependents. Members can order additional cards for dependents.
